Toys
Apparently a baby toy isn't just for babies...I caught the older two boys having just as much fun with it! :)

Bluebonnets
It's Texas tradition to get bluebonnet pictures and well...one out of three of our boys cooperated! Austin was the only one who wanted to see the beautiful Texas flower. Zach and Jake decided it would be a better idea to cry and throw fits. Got to love kids! Thankfully mommy is the photographer, so I didn't have to dish out a bunch of money for the non-cooperating family pictures to be taken! Austin did a wonderful job and here are a couple of pictures:

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year everyone! 2008 has blessed us with a lot of wonderful things and we hope 2009 will treat us the same. To recap the year here is a list:
1) Jake's first birthday! The boys enjoyed their combined birthday party at Fun Jump'n Max!
2) After 5 months of trying for baby number three (aka Baby Tres) we were expecting another baby in January!
3) One of my best friends from Chicago came down to visit!
4) David got an amazing job offer from Klotz Associates to be a part of their design team. We sold the house in just a month and moved on over to Cypress, Texas. It was a huge leap of faith for us, but it has been the best decision all around for us! David is doing amazing things with Klotz such as expanding Hwy 290, expanding the southwest part of Beltway 8, designing Bluewater Hwy (which was destroyed by Ike), and even is broadening his horizons by getting into airport design this year! We are proud of you David for your wonderful work!
5) Austin and I went up to Chicago to stay with Heidi and her boys. Austin's first plane ride was a blast! Even though it was the scariest plane ride for me (we flew through the storm that was flooding the midwest), Austin thought it was fun and loved going "up and down like a roller coaster!" Boys will be boys!
6) We took our first family trip to San Antonio!
7) David and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary! He planned a surprise trip to NYC! I hear I might have a small surprise trip being planned for our next anniversary as well!
8) We were fortunate to have very minor damage from Hurricane Ike.
9) David and Austin went up to Missouri to visit with David's family. Austin still talks about his cousin and great grandma!
10) I went into pre term labor and had to be hospitalized and placed on meds and full bed rest. But - thank the Lord - about a week after I came off of my meds and bed rest we finally were able to welcome ISAAC into our world!! He is such a blessing to our growing family!
11) It snowed in Houston!! The boys loved their first snow!
