Austin in the Sky

Austin and I went to visit one of my best friends in the awesome town of Chicago. We love visiting up there! Austin did fantastic for his first flight! The boys all had so much fun together and instantly bonded like they had known each other their whole lives (they have they just didn't know it! lol). Heidi has a son (Jaxson) who is 8 days older then Austin (we met each other in May of 2004 when we were first expecting) and a son (Austin...AKA AJ) who is a few months older then Jake (we just love being preggo together! lol). I had to leave Jake home due to him being a little young, but he'll get to go next year for sure! Here are pictures...you know there are a lot! :)

Austin asleep on the plane...he loved the bumps and kept saying "yay mama a roller coaster!"

Sorry!

I know...I know...I have been HORRIBLE about posting. But being in the first trimester of pregnancy (which is filled with constant sickness and migraines), showing our house almost every single day (sometimes 3 times a day), running my photography business (which is about to hit its one year mark!), being a SAHM (going to play dates, events, and chasing them around the house), going on/planning vacations, and trying to find a new house (which we have finally chosen the awesome location of Cypress, Texas) I have been SUPER busy!!! I am sorry! There are posts coming very soon...I promise!! :)

Sea World

We took the family up to beautiful San Antonio this week! We spent two days at Sea World and the boys (all three of them) had such a wonderful time. We spent the first day at the water park and the second day seeing the shows and attractions. The water park was great...they had a wave pool, lazy river, and lots of smaller "water parks" like splash zones, slides, and stuff for the kids. When we were leaving we went by the roller coasters and (of course) David had to go on them...a few times. Since it was dusk there weren't any lines, which was a bonus. Aus and Jake were tickled pink seeing their dad go on them! They stared and watched with intensity...then when it was over they laughed. It was really cute!! The next day we went and saw the animals and shows...Shamu being our main event that we wanted to see. The boys LOVED all the animals. Shamu did a fantastic show and Austin fell in love with him. So of course we had to load up on Shamu toys! :) We also fed the dolphins, saw the penguins (another fave of Austin's), and the Beluga whales. The rest of the trip was driving/touring/sight seeing around San Anton and then we headed back home. Austin keeps asking to go see Shamu, so we might have to make this a yearly trip!

It's Official!

Our house is officially on the market to sell! Ahhhhh! Wish us luck for an easy, fast, and smooth sell! :)

Then we will be headed to the west side of Houston. David got an amazing job offer (promotion) with Klotz Engineering and is moving right on up in the Engineering world. He is going to do great things with this company! They are located in Katy, which is why we are having to move over an hour away. We will post pictures when we find our perfect house!

Here is our HAR link if you know anyone interested! :)

Baby Tres First Appearance

We saw Baby Tres on the u/s today! Tres was curled up in a little corner looking like a little baby bean! The heart rate was 142BPM and everything is looking good. My new due date is January 2, 2009...so this could possibly be a December baby! That wouldn't be fair to break our January trend though. :)

Fence

Uncle Jamie came over today to help David finish putting up the rest of the new fence in the back yard. It is our last project to be completed before we get ready to put our house on the market (yes that's right, baby number three equals much bigger house!!). The fence looks really good - great job you guys!!

Kids Galore!

It was my turn to host another play date (and the last one at this house) and the boys had a great time! They love playing with their buddies and snacking on good treats. Afterward I was beat and ready for a nap - luckily for me - so were they! :)

Sprinkler Fun

It was a hot hot HOT day down here in Texas, so we decided to have some outside water fun! We went over to my friend MAC's house for a cool down, good food, and to be with our friends. Austin had such a great time since his buddy Jackson was there. They were kings of the slip-n-slide! Poor Jake was really over heated, so after he cooled off in the pool I brought him inside. He and Devin ate their snacks and ended up liking the a/c much better - that's my boy! By the time I had put them in their car seats they were already fast asleep...they wore themselves out!!

Mr. Home Depot

David and Austin went to Home Depot today. Little did I know they were going to make it an all day trip! lol Which, knowing David, doesn't surprise me too much. They went to a kids work shop where they built a pencil holder together. Isn't that the cutest?! When Austin came home he was proudly holding his pencil holder and telling me all about their day together making it. He even had a little Home Depot apron on, how adorable!!! Excuse the lack of "quality" pictures, because I have such a hard time getting any decent picture of Austin. Being the mamarazzi I am I have inadvertently made him hate cameras! I think it's just the age...hopefully! ;)
