Left Or Right?

Austin still hasn't picked a particular hand to use yet. He tends to eat with his right hand and draw/color with his left. As far as playing with toys and picking them up, he is 50/50. I guess only time will tell if he is going to be a lefty, righty, or ambidextrous...

Memorial Day

We went to Aunt Mary's for their Memorial Day Pool Party. It ended up raining on us towards the end, but we had enough time to attempt to get Austin in the pool. Little did we know he was going to shy away from getting wet. At least there was great food and company. Next time we'll try and get Jacob in the pool...that should be fun!

Down The Toilet

Austin had his first BM in the toilet today!! We threw out the old potty chair and assisted him on the big potty. Apparently that was the problem for him, because he had no problem going in the big potty. Who would have thunk it?!

Kissy Kiss

Jacob and I met up with my friend who has a baby girl (Stephanie) the same age as Jake. Apparently these two lovebirds have it in for each other, because the entire time it was kissy kiss make out time! We could not keep these two munchkins off of each other. While Shannon and I had a good laugh the two lovebirds got to know each other in more ways then one! ;)

Four Month Mark

Jacob is 4 months old today! He did very well at his pedi appt today. Jake is growing like a weed and doing what he does best - eat, sleep, and poop! :) He weighed in at 17.14 pounds (95%) and 27 inches long (off the charts)! He is right on track with his head control, push ups, grabbing things including his feet, rolling over both ways, coo's, smiles, and laughs. He is still getting up to sleep once a night, but not bad at all! He is still nursing like a champ, but he is getting to the point where he needs more then mama can offer. Hopefully I can continue nursing him a little bit longer.
